Cineworld is a good cinema as it is in a good location (in town) so it's easy to get to for all your friends. The snacks are not the best, especially for their prices. Do not get the nachos! New 4D cinema sounds cool, still need to try it though. The staff are nice too and helpful (like when they helped me find my portable charger). One great thing is on Three mobile we get free/discounted cinema tickets occasionally for cineworld.
More expensive than other cinemas for the same experience. People still put their feet on your seat which is disturbing however no staff can be seen to report the matter. Booking online was easier than on other sites and could just scan email to get in instead of printing paper tickets.

An independent cinema with smaller screens/rooms which makes for a more intimate and pleasant time. They do show blockbusters but also a variety of unique films and specials. There is 3 "eateries " where you buy everything from a coffee to a full meal and a drink. You don't get any specials/discounts and the tickets cost just under £10 but the atmosphere of the building makes this a small price to pay.
I've always loved going to this place..it's more of a unique experience than anything else..yes the BIG cinemas are nice but this always feels homely with ice cream being served at the front how it used to be Not too impressed with the cafe upstairs with frozen fish and hard chips. It's definitely not as good as it used to be

Always a great cinema experience. Been here a few times over the years for date night and always a great choice. Good prices. Good location. Seems everyone who goes there goes to watch the movie not play on their phone.
This is my favourite cinema is Newcastle. In fact the whole north east. Its not too busy, the movie theatres are clean and modern. With great sound and picture quality. Relatively cheap and they validate your parking so you don't have to pay. Staff are nice. No issues with them at all. Love it!

Great venue. Relaxed and an engaging space to share with the actors. Highly recommended.
One of the nicest theatres I know. Always a lovely experience

Amazing refurbishment work going on with a very deserving cause. Came to see the production of The 39 Steps and we were thrilled with how the theatre looked as it continues to be added to. The auditorium was close to full, and the rip-roaring hilarity of the play was well performed to a very attentive audience. Definitely an organisation worth a look, with a variety of shows to engage and attract.
The People's Theatre is an excellent community theatre. Run entirely by volunteers, they stage a wide range of shows throughout the year. The productions are of a high standard and the front of house staff always give a warm welcome. The refurbished foyer is a great space with bar and ample comfortable seating, as well as an art gallery showcasing local artists. The only downside is parking, which can be tricky for popular shows though to be fair, this is hardly the theatre's fault. Well worth a visit for an inexpensive, good quality theatrical experience.

Regular visitor and friend of this wonderful old theatre, I have seen many productions here and have enjoyed all of them. Staff are courteous and friendly.
Brilliant. Pleasant staff and comfortable surroundings. Just seen Gangster Granny with grandchildren. Amazing!!
