Local Bookshops

Emerson Chambers, Blackett St, Newcastle upon Tyne NE1 7JF, UK – 0191 261 7757

My favourite book shop in Newcastle by far. The staff are very friendly and helpful. Gorgeous store inside and out, so enjoyable all round. It has 4 floors of magic that are wonderful to explore for new books and even has a cafe for sandwiches, cakes and coffee for a little break or like me and have breakfast before work. Love the place highly recommend having a good look.

Love supporting local shops rather than Amazon so I try to pop in when I can. The staff are very friendly and helpful. The books are spread out over 4 floors and there is now a cafe upstairs to relax in. Access is via stairs.

CLC Bookshops, Newcastle

8 Higham Pl, Newcastle upon Tyne NE1 8AF, UK – 0191 232 5301

This is a great store has everything you need regarding bibles and study material, they also have nice gift ideas in there too. I enjoy you can sit in and have a coffee listening to really good Christian music. The staff there are brilliant always willing to help and you can have a nice chat with them. I love visiting the CLC in Newcastle

It is rare that I write reviews. What a wonderful store. I needed a lot of help to purchase my first study Bible. The gentleman serving was extremely knowledgeable and patient, finding out my needs and suggesting Bibles that would suit. It’s not often one encounters assistants who clearly take pleasure in helping customers. I appreciated it greatly. Thank you.
